Nestled between Kelly Drive and the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park just west of the Art Museum, Boathouse Row features 15 historic rowing clubs each with their own fabulous house. Each club is a member of the Schuylkill Navy of Philadelphia, the oldest amateur athletic governing body in America. Throughout the year, Boathouse Row sets the backdrop for time-honored races including the Stotesbury Regatta, the Schuylkill Navy Regatta, the Philadelphia Youth Regatta and of course, the massive Dad Vail.
