Robbers Cave State Park is a 8,445-acre state park in the Sans Bois Mountains of southeastern Oklahoma. The park takes its name from a cave that was once used by outlaws as a hideout. Robbers Cave State Park is home to a variety of natural features, including waterfalls, streams, forests, and prairies. The park also has a number of historical sites, including the Robbers Cave, the Jesse James Gang Hideout, and the Hanging Tree. Visitors to Robbers Cave State Park can enjoy a variety of activities, such as hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, and horseback riding. The park also has a nature center and a museum.
