The Katy Trail in Dallas, TX is a 3.5-mile, urban recreational trail that runs along the historic route of the old Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) railroad. The trail runs from northwest Dallas at the American Airlines Center to the southeast end at the Houston Street Viaduct. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as running, biking, skating, and dog walking. There are several points of interest, such as the Turtle Creek Greenbelt, the Hall Arts Plaza, and the Katy Trail Icehouse. Additionally, the trail features several amenities such as bathrooms, picnic areas, and drinking fountains. There are also several restaurants and bars located along the trail that make for a great spot to stop and relax.
